UNDISCOVERED FOR 85 YEARS
Soho Basin is new, yet it's like the first days of popular skiing in the 1930's, when it was an adventure and a privilege to discover new runs.

Soho Basin is situated in two high alpine basins at the head of Soho Creek. 

Set amongst the Southern Alps of New Zealand it overlooks the spectacular scenery of Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin 

with amazing alpine views beyond to the peaks of the main divide.

Soho Basin boasts 264 Hectares of skiable terrain with a preponderance of novice and intermediate terrain 

while offering a good balance of advanced options.

The skiing and riding terrain starts at 1425m and goes up to 1925m allowing 500m of vertical drop. These basins face predominantly South 

and receive significant snowfalls and hold the snow in crisp condition for long periods of winter and spring meaning consistent snow 

and a longer season.

Soho Basin is one of the Southern Lakes hidden jewels that is full of snow, sun and fun making for an unforgettable experience in either winter 

or summer.

Soho Basin has been kept a secret for 85 years. Now it's your chance to be a skiing and riding pioneer in these mountains.
Pristine powder awaits you with fresh snow across the basin offering up off piste skiing or riding like you've never experienced it before.

The basin is predominantly south-facing and holds the snow well for long periods.
There is no chairlift - yet - so instead guests jump in a heated cab on the back of a snow cat groomer.
Pricing, as you might expect for an exclusive Queenstown ski area, is more than your average day pass.

An introductory half day with four runs costs $295 per person while a full day costs $580. Private charters are also available

 for a maximum of 24 people.  The land is Crown-
