퀸스타운에서 10일간 즐길 수 있는 명품 산책(10개 코스) 길.

퀸스타운에서는 약간의 가벼운 움직임만 있어도 퀸스타운 주변의 장엄한 전망들을 즐겨볼 수 있다. 퀸스타운에서 가벼운 산책을 통해서 새로운 뷰를 즐겨보자. 

와카티푸 분지(Wakatipu Basin)는 걷는 여행자의 천국이며, 퀸스타운에 있는 사람이나 관광객들은 타운 센터에서 멀리 떨어진 곳에서 새로운 경치를 감상하고 멋진 경관을 만끽할 필요 없이 최고의 명소들을 퀸스타운 주변 다음의 10개 코스에서 10일간에 걸쳐서 들러 볼 수 있다.

그리고 퀸스타운(Queenstown)에서는 퀸스타운 정원에서 헤이스 호수(Lake Hayes) 및 에로우 타운(Arrowtown) 등 일부 보석같이 아름다운 풍경들을 단지 등산화 끈만 메고 나오기만 하면 즐길 수 있다.

트랙은 중간정도의 수준이며, 시내에서 직접 시작하는 방문객들은 Queenstown Hill 루프 트랙에서 가장 아름다운 지점 전망대인 'Basket of Dreams'까지 자신의 체력을 시험 할 수 있다. 

주차장이 있는 벨 파스트 스트리트(Belfast Street)에서 출발해서 도보 3시간으로 마칠 수 있다. 와카티푸 분지에서 세실 피크(Cecil Peak), 프랭크 톤 암(Frankton Arm), 퀸즈타운 베이(Queenstown Bay) 등의 아름다운 풍경을 조망할 수 있다.

For a moderate challenge, starting directly from downtown, visitors can test their legs on the Queenstown Hill Loop Track up to the ‘Basket of Dreams’, a favourite lookout spot. The three-hour walk starts and finishes on Belfast Street, and offers views over the Wakatipu basin to Cecil Peak, the Frankton Arm and Queenstown Bay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

일명 "꿈의 바구니".

Basket of Dreams' was created for 'TIME WALK', Queenstown's Millenium project (2000) which has seen the existing walking trail up Queenstown hill transformed into a heritage and art trail. The 'Basket' is near the top of the hill and is built to lie inside of, eat your sandwich, and imagine. Its a place to be with others and with the magic of the Wakatipu landscape. 27 January 2009
